The Middlesex Islanders Mite Development (MD) Program for the 2010 - 2011 season is geared toward players born in 2004, and 2005 that have some skating and hockey experience and who want to get prepared for Mites for the following season. This is a co-ed program that follows the principals of the USA Hockey. www.usahockey.com . Practices will be on Tuesday and Wednesday’s 4:30 at Hockey Town USA in Saugus. Practice will focus on skill development in the areas of skating, passing, shooting, and puck handling. Some games will be held at Micro ice in N. Andover. www.microicecenters.com.  They will be comprised of cross-ice and small area games to emphasize fun, skill and game situation development. The MD is best for your child’s age group. Stay positive and skate with players close to their age.

The '94 Middlesex Islanders topped the '94 Minuteman Flames 4-3 in overtime on Sunday, March 15, to capture the '94 Full Season Midget Title.

In the Championship game of the '99 AA Division the Bay State Breakers downed the Minuteman Flames in another 4-3 game, with this one ending in regulation time.

Congratulations to all four teams on a great season.
